cant believe its over, they were here for three hours and i got good in all areas :clapping: was quite gruelling,i hd a 14 month old and 16 month od and they played up a little so i got a bit flustered but think i handled it pretty well.i owe a special thanks to sarah without whose guide to sef i would have been lost, they said it was the first one filled in they had seen! and they could tell a lot of work had gone into it.( it had, iwas up till 1.00 am on friday and saturday night) but i am so glad i did it, i would advise everyone to get it done, and get sarahs guide if it seems daunting, cos it translates it into plain english:laughing: i feel weird now its over, ive put so much into this i feel drained, but im looking forward to a good sleep tonight( after a couple of glasses of wine cos only got after schoolers tomorrow)! thanks everyone i know its a cliche now but i really feel supported by this forum  xx

thanks for replies. yes sarah 3 hours  9.00 till almost on the dot at 12. i think it was long because the inspector inspecting me was bein inspected by her inspector at the same time! in fact i think it was my inspectors first time. she kept stopping to consult her senior and apologising to me saying this is all new to us too you know. lol luckily the senior one was really on the ball and kept pointing out things the oher had missed like my multicultural posters . so maybe its better having two, lol. i did try a joke at the start , i said oh has one come to make the tea cos i wont have time with these two:laughing: they did find it funny and it broke the ice lol has anyone noticed though that when the inspection over and theyve given you your feedback that its as though a switch is pulled and they turn back into humans again?? these two immediately started laughing and joking and sayig how gorgeous the girls are and got quite clucky! i was almost sorry to see them go!! ( no that bit is so not true ) wasnt too bad all in all and its lovely when someone says your doing really well:jump for joy: xx

You definately deserve that glass of wine or two - make sure you get some choccie to go with it - a huge bar at that :)

Congratulations!
I was told at my inspection that most inspectors will be inspecting in pairs while they themselves get the hang on EYFS.
