Do we still need to have written plans for the inspectors to see, or is it all child led so we dont need to have things written down.
I feel I'm getting confused about this issue, and cant seen to decide which is the right way to go about it.
Any advice most gratrefully recieved

How would you plan for eg christmas if it was all child led? Would you wait for the child to mention something or would you say, 'ok, it's nearly christmas / Hanukkah / Easter etc... now what should we do?'
If you do some of your planning that way and some of your planning led by the child, you are giving a range of experiences which is what the Eyfs says you should do.
Hth :D
Thanks Sarah,
Yes that does help. So basically we just need to have a topic in mind and then let the children expand upon it depending on their age and stage of development.

That's about half of what I do... yes.
The rest is free play and stuff I set out for the children to access if they wish like sand, water, playdough, jigsaws, games etc :D
