Had a call from Ofsted yesturday, and although I've only been registered for 4 months they are coming tomorrow. In a complete flat spin about it as when I had my pre-reg visit the inspector said not to realistically expect to be seen for about eight months, as they normally come at 6 but with the new EYFS stuff, they will probably be a bit behind in coming out. So much for that, huh!
I keep thinking I've done enough but then I get doubts about it all especially the more I dealve around on this site.:panic: :panic: :panic:
If anybody has any advice or any reminders of things I mustn't miss then please let me know

Thanks

Im sure you will be fine hun. Lots of minders say having all paper work out ready on the side or table so Ofsted can go through it as they wish helps so then you can just get on with the activity's with the children and showing what a great childminder you are

Good Luck

Good luck with your inspection.

I had mine yesterday and it was nowhere near as bad as I had envisaged. They ask you questions about how you safeguard the children, and what you do to help them with their PSED, etc. Ask about fire procedure and where your fire blanket is kept. One thing they are big on is multicultural resources and visual promotions of faiths/festivals.

I am sure you will be fine. Let us all know how you get on.
