I started last monday but not doing too well:blush:   Want to lose a stone before May.earlier if possible!
Hi all,
I started last week, and weighed at a friends as cant afford to go to WW each week. I have brought a set of scales, and will weigh myself tomorrow morning. I haven't been very motivated this week, but since I have discovered this fantastic forum, maybe I will find it easier as its difficult to eat and type at the same time!

Oh you'd be suprised I eat and type all the time !!
Well, my husband got the scales out this morning, dragged me out of bed (apparantly I asked him to !!) and found that I have lost 5lbs this week - although I do think it has something to do with not weighing myself in my jeans.
I must admit though to feeling inspired to continue ( although hungry today!)

I used to be tiny size 8 two years ago now I have put on 2 stone, all form being around the house and not working full time and running around.
I am 11.5 stone at present and a size 12. But would love to be 9 st again, size 10/8 before summer preferably:D

I am hovering at 12 1/2 stone. I just used the calculator to figure it out cos I still can't automatically do the stone thing (I'm American - yeah, it's all in pounds but it's the 14 pound increments that get to me) and I was thinking I was 12 stone but no, 174/14 = just going on 12 1/2!! I'm only 5ft 2 in, as well. My trouble is, I have very slender hips and legs, really big boobs and carry all my weight around the middle, like an apple on a stick. Precisely the most dangerous place to carry extra weight as it puts you at risk for all sorts.
So I want to lose 2 1/2 stone.

Ok Tatia as it's 'fessing up time. I'm 5ft 3in and my starting weight was ...........14st 6lb. Which officially puts me in the obese catagory
I would like to lose about 3 1/2 stone. Either that or grow another foot taller :D
I carry all my weight around my middle too - not so much on the boobs sadly but all on my tummy. So much so that I can see people looking twice at me to see if i'm pregnant. In fact I do get asked that when I first meet people, I suppose i should be flattered that they think i'm young enough for that:D
