Has anyone got any activities on "road safety" i'm going to childminding group tomorrow they are doing this as a theme bringing outfits ect. I was thinking of trying to extend this through the week.
I have looked on websites and can't find anything
Any ideas?

I'm sure there was a thread on the old forum about this so you could take alook there.
I'm sure I've some stuff so I will see what I can find.
You could bring in people who help us as well - there are some photos on Bev Evans site - www.communication4all.co.uk

Hi Angela
Try this website i think it is fantastic - As well as the stories it has some worksheets and activity ideas.

I have also got some activities etc that I will email to you - I can't remember where they all came from but do know that some are what Angel sent me a little while ago....I am sure she won't mind me sending them to you.
I hope they are what you are looking for.

Hedgehogs.... now where are they? Ah yes!

I got a fab book from Sandwell recently as well, but it took a while to come through (John posted this originally)...

There's also a section in my 'people who help us' book about road crossing people, but it's not the biggest tbh!
Do Chell's people who help us puppets feature a road crossing person...? Yes! A lollipop man...

Road safety week is in November and there are always good resources around then from here ...
