Hi all
How long does it normally take after having your initial inspection, to when you have your grading inspection?
I recieved my certificate back in april but still havent heard re my grading inspection.
Not that Im worried gives me more time to prepare.
Just thought 5 months seems along time to me!

It's usually 6 months but there will probably have been delays with Eyfs and I think inspectors have been on strike for more pay so don't hold your breath. :D

Iv just had mine and iv been working as a childminder/registered for 13 months. They are way behind on inspections but beware they could ring at any time ane come the following day! You need to be totally prepeared as with regards to the EYFS framework as it is very intense quiestioning. Good luck x

i have had the call today and i got registered in march. I feel wholefully unprepared regarding eyfs and i am sure that i'm going to get a pants outcome i have just spent all evening getting my risk assesments up together. i thought they would have allowed us more time to get our heads round this. The lovely inspector should be with me either tomorrow or weds. I think i will probably endup doing a spongebob and just stand there going ah ah ah ah ah !!!!!!!:panic: :panic:
Good luck Keals - fingers crossed that all will go well, I'm sure you'll do fine!
Let us know how it goes.

thank you!!!!!! im off to spend some time with the hubby now i think he's feeling neglected. Mind you if he tells me not to worry one more time i think i'm going to lose the plot!!!!!
It must be really scary though - haven't even had my pre-reg inspection yet and I'm already nervous (especially trying to get my head round all this EYFS stuff!).
Good luck again!
