I know its early but you might want to save the boxes for this
Make your own
Match box drawers
You will need
• a lot of match boxes
• strong glue
• spray paint
• colourful paper
• numerical stickers
• advent activities, sweets or trinkets to put inside
Directions
1. Glue together 24 matchboxes to form a bank of drawers.
2. Paint or decorate around the outside of the boxes. We painted our boxes red...
...and then glued small rectangles of colourful paper to the match box drawers.
3. Number the drawers and pop your advent activities inside each of them sweets etc
Easy and great for the kids to make with you

I'm a bit confused! How do you get into the drawers if they're glued together? I'm sure it's simple but I just can't picture it:blush:

I think its because even though you have glued the outside of the match boxes together the little drawer bits still go in and out??????

Ah, I knew it would be simple and I'm just a bit dim!! Can I justify it by saying that I don't ever use matches?? Yes I am blonde!:)

Did you use proper matchboxes Angel - what about the rough bit where you strike the match - did you glue them together?
I like the idea but not sure if it will be too much of a faff (sp?)
