Hi All,

Had my inspection today, and i recieved an Overall Good with two areas being Outstanding!:) I'm so pleased it's all over. I had two inspectors but i was very lucky as they were lovely. They said that i should be very proud of myself & that next time i should get an outstanding if i keep up the good work.

I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has passed on such great advice and tips. Now i'm off to put kettle on before i pick up my daughter from school. x

Oh well done you - yuk 2 ofsted inspectors at the same time.

How long were they there for and did you complete your sef form - if so did they refer to it.

You can have a nice relax now, and a huge glass of something to celebrate such a good grade.

I had a safety check before 1st Sept on my new conservatory. The inspector told me that they had to do a couple alone, then a collegue would go along with them and finally the boss would have to go - just to make sure they are doing the new style inspection OK.

One question i've been wanting to ask. What do you do on an inspection if you need to do the pre-school/school run whilst they are there or if you want to go to the park?
Do they follow you in their car? Or do you have to stay at home whilst they are inspecting you?

friend of mine had to do preschool run during inspection, inspector took paperwork/policies into her( inspectors) car to read through while friend did preschool collection! Dont know if thats usual though

They arrived at 10am & left at 12.35 so not too bad at all!I did not have to complete my SEF but they told me to go online every 3mths to up date it.
They told me that there is two inspectors at the moment aas they are just shadowing eachother until they get to grips with it.
I have never heard of inspector going on school run, but when they phone they just ask if you are busy that certain week and have you any school runs to do. x x
