I had my first inspection in July 07 (got a good) and I am sure they said you get inspected every 3 years? Is this right? Would that mean my next inspection is due July 2010? I am a little confused (it doesn't take much! haha!).

Yes it would normally be in approximately 3 years time, however, bear in mind that they can, if they want to, come out and inspect you again based on the eyfs inspection. We were told on our course that just because you might not be due for another two or three years that they may still inspect again.

Personally, but don't quote me on this, they will probably be far too busy to do re-inspections so quickly - but then again this is Ofsted we are talking about.

Anyway, as you got a good before, sounds like you really have nothing to worry about.

Well... there are a lot of rumours flying about at the moment...

So while we are hopeful it will be about 3 years, there are no absolute guarantees until we see what Ofsted are doing.

There was some suggestion they would blitz by postcodes... again I don't know how right this is :D

When you speak to our local network co-ordinator and ask how often she won't mention anything about three years and just says be ready cos they can come at any time.

my development co ordinator told me they had changed their time scale and i sure she said 3-6yrs. my 3yrs are up in nov so she said could be any time in the next 3yrs but maybe sooner than later with me being in a diff house from my last inspection
