hi, in my garden i am having a fence put up on one half of my garden so i can let the under 5's play in, does anyone know if i have to contact ofsted about it and would they need to come out and inspect the new area. help !:panic:

If you send in a new risk assessment with your request to use the garden and include photos, it might mean they don't need to come out to see you... but no promises!

Is the garden out of bounds at moment? I agree that a risk assessment would get you in the garden and then they might send someone round as well

If the garden is not out of bounds and registered at the moment and you are just making changes then no need to inform them they will see it at their next inspection - if it is and you now want it included in your registered work area then you need to let them know.

thanks for your reply's my garden was inspected when i had my inspection last, there is really no work being done when i have mindee children it is all done at weekend and equipment and rubbish is put away straight away before monday morning, so there is no mess,
