I have sent ofsted a letter to ask for a variation. They have contacted me to say they have recieved the letter and are processing my request. Today the parent that is causing me to need a variation in my numbers has phoned to say she has changed her days which will now affect the variation. I sent ofsted a letter and a table showing them when I have children.

Do you think it would be ok for me to send them an email explaining that the parent has changed her days and send the table showing them or do I need to speak to them?

In your original variation did you ask for specific days or the whole week?

I would email Ofsted and explain that an existing mindee needs to change her days and request a full week which will allow you to choose which days you need.

Then follow it up with a letter

I'd attach another copy of your original letter - then they will have all the information in one go

Good luck
