My friends cat was run over yesterday and her oldest 2 are distraught (3 & 5 years). So I found these websites might be useful for mindees/parents/children. One has a help line too.

Oh no im sorry, how awful, we have 3 and 1 of them is always wondering off, im always looking along the road when we go out it worrys the life out of me, he even ran out in front of me the other evening:eek: , thanks for the links i hope the day never comes i have to use them x:thumbsup:
Always so sad when a pet dies but children seem to accept it quite quickly. I have a great book called Goodbye Mog by Judith Kerr which talks through the death of a loved Cat and then the arrival of a new kitten.
