I have just had a call from some one at Ofsted to ask me if I was minding yet and if so how old was he what days I have him . she then said that she would pass all that info to an inspector!!!! cause Im due my inspection soon, but I should be due for that early Feb...NOT NOW.........

Is this normal for them to do this tpye of call????

I just read the other thread too........

I wuldnt panic just yet, maybe ring OFSTED back to confirm that it was them you just spoke too but the inspector told me at my inspection that a month before my next inspection was due thay they would ring to see if I was minding or not and if so what days so that the inspector would know what day to call as if they come on a day when you have no mindees there they can only give you satisfactory as a grade.

Give them a call though......

The more people that call Ofted about it the more they are going to be aware
