I had a prospective parent come to visit me this morning.

I am pleased to say that it went really well and liked the mum quite a bit. She seemed like a sensible woman and if she could possibly be on the same wave length as me...if you know what I mean.

The little boy is 6 months old and is a real cutie.....He was really good....happy to lay on the floor and play and seemed quite placid.

As I said I think it went well but will have to wait and see if she gets back to me about going further.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

He was probably only happy because mum was sitting there....knowing my luck if he does come he will probably be a screamer - lol!!!

I actually prefer looking after toddlers.

Up until christmas I had three 2 year olds and was really happy as it worked really well.....and of course now that one of them has left I have to take on a baby again...if I am hones I am not really looking forward to it....but then they do grow up really fast so it won't be for long

Yes susan.

i got a phone call from her late yesterday afternoon and she asked if she could bring her husband to meet me.

They came this morning and things seem to be going really well. I went through the contract with them but told them to take it home and discuss it between them before signing.

I am having the little boy on Monday morning for a couple of hours as part of the settling inperiod and hopefully will have a signed contract a cheque for the deposit in my hand at the same time.

So it looks like I have filled my vacancy and back to full capacity and the hours are really good and fit in really well too.

I had the little boy yeterday morning and have to say he was lovely. He was so happy and contented (long may it last!!) and he didn't cry at all. He sat on my lap or played on the floor.....I was really impressed with him.

I dropped him back off at home at lunchtime and he was still smiling....he is such a cutie.

I have got him again this morning and am taking him to toddler group.

If he continues to settle in this way there will be no reason why he can't official start very soon.....mum wants to go back to work but is self employed so is fairly flexible and wants to make sure that he is ok before making the transition.

Lucky you Dee having a good baby haha hope it continues
