Remember I posted recently saying that I couldn't log into the SEF even though I had been into it previously and set up gateway id, etc. Well I have just telephoned Ofsted and after spending over 10 minutes being transferred from one department to another I eventually got through to someone in Technical Dept, and he asked me to try and log in and explain what it is happening, so I did. And guess what..............I got in!!! I felt stupid and apologised and he just said that he thinks that the problems with logging in are due to the high demand of people trying to gain access.

So I am logged in now but not got time to look at it but scared of logging out in case I cannot get in again!!! :panic: :panic:

There will be maintenance on the site on Saturday so we shall see if it is any better after that....

I had this same problem a few weeks ago when I tried to log in for the first time. I had tech help from ofsted - he made me log in and out in and out and then it worked. He told me that many people are having the same problems when logging in for the first time.
I think there is something technically wrong rather than us being no-brainers! haha:laughing:

I think they must have a little switch to control who can get in and who cant. then when you call up, they let you in, in an attempt to make you look foolish!
