I've told the children we'll have a movie afternoon one day next week with popcorn and hot chocolate.

So I'm looking for movie suggestions. It needs to be a U certificate film, preferably with nothing too scary in it! It's for 3 & 4 year olds.

My mind has drawn a complete blank

Father Christmas, The Snowman - or are they old fashioned?

Is Stickman Christmasy enough?

Don't know how old yours are, this might be a bit young, but I'm sure I saw a Postman Pat Christmas special which was about an hour long. I'm hoping it's the same one I used to watch years ago with a mindee who was obsessed with it because it has a sweet little tune in it that used to make me feel all warm and fuzzy everytime I heard it. When I was looking at the cbeebies channel this morning, I noticed a section called 'Getting ready for Christmas' and it has Christmas editions of lots of the regular shows.

Oh, The Snowman would be a good choice. I don't think I've watched Father Christmas, so that might be nice as well.

As they're only short films, even the younger ones might join us for a little while.

ooo love the snowman. and snow dog!

Can't stand Stickman!

I have watched some random disney christmas films in the past, but i can't remember any of them !!! Mickey's wonderful Christmas? or something similar.

Cbeebies have ( had ... haven't looked this year! ) some nice Christmas programmes.
