Hi there, I deregistered in 2014 and I now want to re-register. Is it a complete new application? I hold a current first aid, have completed the local authority course but back in 2012 and I'm on the DBs update system. So I'm just unsure what I need to do again. Any advice greatly received. Thank you.

You need to start your application to ofsted again.

You shouldnt need to do the course again but all the other checks have to be done so social services/health declaration.

If your dbs is not home based you may need to redo that too.

Is there a quicker way to apply for a DBS for my Husband? I'm assuming I'll need to redo that as his was a few years ago.
