I read the recent thread about the disappearing like button but what's the little label (I think) sign on the threads now. Have I missed something?
I've been wondering about that too...

Do you mean the little triangle? Think it's a report post button. But that might not be new, I am catching up as haven't been on here for a while

When I'm on my laptop I can hover over the tag and it brings up key words that are tagged in the post. It doesn't do anything on my phone though.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we will be able to bring back the 'Like' button. It was a third party plug-in that is no longer supported by the company that developed it and has some security vulnerabilities, so it isn't a good idea to use it.
We will have a look to see if there are any alternative solutions available.

I never use my phone post, but I have seen other people say they can reply to posts but not start new ones.

I'm too nosy to ignore something new
It didn't really mean anything to me though. I had hoped it was something a bit more exciting!

That's a real shame. Now it's gone it's made me realise just how much I used it!
Fingers crossed you can find an alternative

I miss the like button too , I used it a lot when i agreed wit a reply to a post rather than just repeating the same advice!
I would have liked all the 'i miss the like button ' posts!!!
I actually believe Bunyip wore it out. He once said he had more 'likes' than posts!!!

Typical citizen bunyip to have worn it out 😂😂😂
I'm glad everyone is missing the 'like' button as much as I am. It was a really convenient way of acknowledging a post or a reply. I feel quite rude not being able to like a post.

If any of us get a 'thanks' it's going to be like getting a special award from the headteacher
If we get 5 thanks can we have a prize out of the reward box like they do at school :D
