washing babies hands after nappy changes? I know we've discussed this before but did we come to any conclusions?
I still use wet wipes to wash babies hands after changes, do others do this? I can't imagine how cackhanded it would be to try holding a baby over the kitchen sink to use running water and it would be a right pain to dash about with bowls!

I use antibac gel as my washbasin is upstairs
i wouldn't use anti bac on a baby especially if their hands are going into their mouths but i do try to rememebr to use babywipes on the little ones hands after each change though

Wipes here and anti bac gel too - although for a baby under 1yo wouldn't use anti bac gel

I use wipes on baby's hands and wash my own but if I have to do an emergency change when I'm out and about I wipe mine with wipes and then use anti-bac gel that I keep in my going out bag.

should have said- the only 'baby' I have is almost 2 and past the stage of putting things in his mouth so I am confident that the gel is ok for him.
For very young babies I use fleece wipes that I just bung in the wash after each use. Much cheaper than wipes and better for the planet
