If you do not want to go into details with the parents something like


Dear x

It is with deep regret that I have decided that I have to close my childminding service due to a change in personal circumstances. My last day working will be ........ . These are the contact details of local childminders with spaces/family information service/nurseries. I have enjoyed caring for x and wish you all well in the future. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of their lives.

Dear xxx, it with a heavy heart that I have decided to stop childminding. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last xx years childminding and adore all my minded children but due to medical reasons, which I do not wish to discuss, I have decided that Friday xxx will be my last day.
Thank you for being wonderful families. I have felt very loved and valued.
