I thought I was just being daft! Glad I'm not the only one!!
I'm thinking I should reply saying '
Thank you for your enquiry. I am a home from home childmimder who welcomes all children . Please could you let me know if you have any specific requirements? ....
Will that cover it without sounding like I have no idea what she's on about?? Lol

Ah Mouse, that sounds like a good answer. But why canonical? Don't think I will find out until I ask her? !!!

Brilliant Mouse. Thank you for the link. It has got to mean am I registered! Phew, glad I dint email back saying .
'Oh God no I'm not religious!!! Lol (don't mean to offend anyone)
Right, I can answer the canonical question now. I just hope that I don't need a dictionary for the rest of the enquiry.
Thank you all for your help in sorting this out.

My guess is that it's an auto-correct of some fat-fingered lummox who is incapable of spelling "economical".
They could probably have saved themselves a lot of trouble by being honest and making the standard parental request of wanting exceptionally high quality childcare on the cheap.*
* Please refer to all my previous posts about people who order champagne whilst telling the sommelier they're going to drink the champagne but want to be charged for water.

My bet's on it being an auto-correct for "economical" - as brilliantly suggested by Bunyip.
Can't wait to find out.

There's nothing "brilliant" about me having made every mistake there is to make already, thus making it easy to spot somebody else's. :o
