I've just realized that i've been giving away 6-8 hour a term in the winter and spring term. :panic: So people doing the funding please check and count the hours.. I dont know how but this term spring i would of given them 7 hours more without payment (they do 15 hours a week) so there funding finishes week ending the 23rd

You do have to be really careful. It often happens if the term ends on a Wednesday, for example, but the funding ends on the previous Friday.

I keep a register just for funded children (they're also in my main register) where I keep a running total of hours used over the term. At the beginning of term I work out how many hours the LA is paying for and advise parents of when this will cover them until.

It is worth keeping the invoices for children who draw funding for 2 reasons
1. For the LA audit when they check you are not charging any extras for the 15 Hours
2. To keep a record and check parents are only given 15 hours of funded education

It shouldn't cause much more paperwork...just put the invoices in the child's file
