Finally!! Been feeling quite fed up thinking no one wanted me!!
A fellow childminder recd me has her baby place is taken (I helped her fill it)
The lady is coming to see me on Tues afternoon she is teacher so will need to think about term time fees now!!!

Well done and fingers crossed for you for next Tuesday, being recommended will help.
It must be the day for it as I had a phone call for a 7 month old for Sept but I have no spaces. She's asked me to phone if I vacancy in the future

Its only 2 days a week so now thinking it wouldnt be much money during the hols will see how we get on with each other though, had a few people round last month and didnt like one of the mums at all!!

Oh Karen Im sorry to hear that, well perhaps it was a blessing 2 days term time wont bring an aweful lot I guess, dont know if thats the right thing to say but trying to look on the bright side for you :D

sorry to hear that. i have a childminding friend who had the same thing happen to her today. mum was meant to be coming around tomorrow. she dropped note in door. didnt even tell her face to face. says she doesnt need a childminder now as has changed her job!! must be something in the air.:(

Had another call today though a chap wanting care for his 17 month old son every day from Sept, will only be a few hours a day so thats fantastic!!! They are coming to see me next Wednesday has I am away at a health spa on Monday and Tuesday!!!!

Yeah - thats good news Karen!
I have to say i am so suprised at the amount of enquiries everybody is getting for care from September, is it just me that thinks leaving it this late is a tad un-organised???
