Well, I posted in March about finally getting The Call but it's taken until now for them to confirm they will be coming to see me next week.

So, I was thinking.... I assume that Ofsted inspectors are CRB checked so if I needed to grab something from another room am I ok to leave the kids in the same room as her/him or do I need to take them with me?

I'm hoping that I will be organised enough to remember everything they need to see but I know how forgetful I am :)

I was told on my last inspection that it's ok to leave the children in the room with the inspector when I went into the kitchen to make her a drink, I could still see her and the children though.

Someone else may have been told something different though as Ofsted seem to change there minds depending on who inspects.

Good luck with your inspection, hope it goes well

Thanks for that!

I suppose it's really just another one of those questions that really depends on which inspector you get isn't it?

I too left kids with inspector whilst I went into another room.

I asked my inspector how she'd feel if little ones came in without me and she said it was their house and that was fine :D
