I am a bit confused on ratios. I know according to EYFS that I can only have a maximum of 3 young children and my son is 6 months so he's my only one allowed under the age of one. So does that mean I can only have my son and 2 other "young children"? Thanks guys, sorry I'm
Pretty dumb!!

Ok unless you have been restricted by space generally your ratios are 6 under 8. Off these only 3 may be under 5 and only one of these may be under 1.
So yes your son takes up one space but that leaves you 5 more space. But only 2 more may be under 5 :)
