 What's the point in having a long web address on a poster? Who is going to stand there and copy all that off the poster and type it in to a PC etc? Do they not think when designing these things...?

Good question...unless Ofsted think we are going to print a copy for every parent? #NOT!!!

Haha because now they don't have to update it, we have to find it all out!

Bit like when they changed they ofsted registration certificates

Remember its not only putting up the new poster , we need to update the address on our comlaints policies too every time it changes!

My policy says "refer to Ofsted poster displayed in porch" so as long as my poster has correct details I haven't got to keep changing my policy.

Just printed this out on blue paper and stuck on bottom of my poster - why exactly are we telling parents how to find alternative childcare - I obviously had never read this bottom part properly before!

Am I wrong in thinking that if parents need to refer any matter to Ofsted the poster says either to ring the 0300 number or write to the Manchester address?

Like you I have not changed my policy because those 2 details are unchanged on the new poster...all that has changed is the Ofsted website address ...maybe they have taken onboard the fact their website is rather complicated to navigate as Wilshaw keeps telling us parents find it a nightmare to look for childcare and the focus on the FIS is evidence?

The address is slightly different , the name of the team has changed to ARC team ( Applications Regulatory and Contact)

Like the idea of just pointing them to the poster though. Only changed it this morning - Next time!
