I already work with my oh as my assistant with 6 little ones. Have had an enquiry for a nursery pick up late morning which would take us to 7 for around an hour or so. If I register my mum to help for this hour can I do it? Sorry just having a dumb moment and can't think straight!

1. Check whether you need planning permission - if you need it then you have to get it before you go to more than 6 under 8 - or you will not be insured -

2. Check your floor space very carefully - you have to be sure you can fit the current children in before you think about more -

3. If that's all in place you can have a max of 3 members of staff working together ... hth :D
