This could be useful reading about the SEN changes which are the biggest in the last 30 years
Helpful when looking at your new SEND policy
The new system adds health and care needs to the educational ones
Statements of special needs and learning difficulties will be replaced by education, health and care plans (EHC)
SEND will replace School Action, School Action Plus and their equivalents

I found this on the Foundation Years website...hope it is helpful...probably good to print and put in your portfolio and mention in your SEND policy
