So cute . Hatched chick's 2 years ago with one of my hens so exciting.

One of my mindees last week helped me collect the eggs and asked if they had chicks in them - I said "no, these have just got eggs to eat in them"! Have you got a cockerel or did you buy fertilized eggs and what will you do with the male chicks (if any)?

I have 2 hens and 2 ducks and all the little ones! A friend gave me eggs from her farm and we just hoped they were fertile! I am hoping they are all girls! But if boys I'll give them to a farmer friend! Luckily I live in the countryside!

I do want chickens. But can't have them on a balcony.
