I got the call from Ofsted and my inspection will be on 18th Aug at 9.30! Oooooh er!

Luckily I've got the next three weeks off so I can get ready for it!

Wow! I feel strangely calm at the moment, I even phoned her back when she left a message earlier which I never thought I'd do!

No, the parents didn't return the questionnaires! I'm not best pleased especially as I enclosed a stamped, addressed envelope! Bet they've steamed the stamp off and used it themselves!

I'm going to text them middle of next week and ask them to send them back asap due to my inspection. Maybe they're on holiday?

Sorry to butt in ladies. I have my first inspection on 15th august. Are there any questionaires anywhere that we can print off and give to parents or do you all do your own??

Thanks

Nicki

You're not butting in! You can chat away with the rest of us wherever you like!

I made mine up with a little help!

I think most people make their own up, not sure if there's one on Bromley website or not?

Not that i am anywhere near having an inspection but is this something you have to do as part of the inspection ( the parent questionaires) sorry i hope you understand that i dont think i have made myself very clear!!

You don't have to do one at all.

I do questionnaires for after the initial four weeks of the contract to check everything is okay for the parents. I then will do them a year later and so on. If I hadn't had one done for a long time I would do another just before an inspection.

I have also just started doing questionnaires for leavers as I've never managed to get a reference yet! Saying that they have ignored the questionnaires too! Very annoying!

ok thanks. so many of you are using feedback to establish things you can do to improve, things the parents and mindees like and things they dont like etc.. And this all helps for regular evaluation and the inspection.
Think i get it now
Thanks V much.
