Sat at the breakfast table this morning. Mindee(4) comments about my DD going to school as she walks out the door to" X is going to school because she has to do homework"
Then when hubby goes out " X is going to work" I reply yes that's right- he's got busy jobs to do today!
She then looks at me and says " you don't do anything do you" - lol.
Had to chuckle to myself. If only:)

Nope we just stay at home and play
To be honest today I have
Driven cars around the room
Slid down a slide
Built moon sand castles
Crunched cereal with my bear feet just to see what it felt like
Built a farm
Played in the rain
Fed chickens
Stoped and chilled for 30 minutes just becUse a horse came by.
And I'm sure lots more that I've forgotten.
Some days like today are awesome and it really does feel like I just play all day lol

Ha ha, apparently this is the American phrase (as LO used to live there) embarrassingly I have no idea of the English word! It is on the park, 2 seats it spins and bounces - super fun!

do you now what though? i think you must be doing an amazing job if the children you look after dont realise you are observing and writing diaries etc. You must be a very fun person to be around so well done x i only feel a bit miffed if an adult says it to me but take it as massive praise if its from a mindee x
