Hi everyone. Sometimes I don't have the use of my vehicle so we walk to play group ect. If the weather is bad I am offered the use of another car where I am a named driver or a lift. How do I stand?

You would have to check with your insurance company your car should be registered for business use is the other car.
I thought that but they will only insure policyholder and spouse for business use. What about accepting a lift.

I don't know the legalities but I know other childminders who don't drive and they will often be driven around by other childminder friends

I would have thought that if you wern't driving then you and the children would be covered by the drivers insurance just do a risk assessment and get parents signed permission.
