I I just wondered if anybody new the cost to register as a new childminder now? My friend is looking in to becoming one but I'm not sure with all this agency talk what the cost to register is now? Anyone else know??

The fee to Ofsted was £35 for all three registers - the dbs check was £52.10 per person.

Then you need to factor in first aid, pli, any local authority courses etc.

There is currently a start up gtant on offer for new childminders I think.
