I did this a few months ago with 2 & half year old mindee, we then cut and glued pictures of food all over the drawn body as we talked about healthy food and growing bodies. We measured heights then and repeated it last week and she has grown 6cm in 3 months.

Did you trace the outline of the child? That's such a fantastic idea! I'm looking for activities to do with an "Ourselves" theme come September. This would be perfect if they could glue on bits from magazines about their fave things.
In fact, so many ways you could use this idea! Briliant.

They are really good - I bought some figures that need decorating but at the moment only have one baby so I shall have to wait. I shall definately do them at first opportunity as they look really good.

i love these pics and was planning doing this with my lot tomorrow
