Hi there, I can't find any in shops. Searching on the internet for them and they only cost £1.50 for a pack of 100. I don't want the aprons on a roll as I have nowhere to put the roll up. I want them just in a packet so £1.50 for 100. Every company on the internet want £5 delivery. Where does everyone else buy them.
Or am I just being miserable about the £5 delivery. Thanks again.

I bought these, but I am a prime member so no postage - I notice at the side that crown supplies and medicare say free postage and packing.

Thanks everyone. I will have a look on ebay too.
My registration inspector told me I should be using a disposable apron every time I change a nappy. (for the person who asked when you should use them).

Really?? When did that change? I wear gloves but never an apron. And all the extra rubbish to dispose of. I sometimes change 12 nappies a day, so add on 12 aprons along with the gloves in the bin I wouldn't have much room for my own household rubbish, lol. I know they wear them in Nurseries.

I kept loads when I was working as a carer, I used to go to elderly a homes, but I never used unless the house was bad, I say as long as you got gloves it shouldn't be a problem, as really just to protect you from poo and wee and sick, I felt they got in the way of your job start to sweat wearing plastic, your at home if you get messy you can change, or just wear a normal apron

It is not ofsted that inspect me as I live in Scotland. The Care Inspectorate inspect childminders in Scotland and they told me that I should be using an apron.

You can sometimes get them in the £1 shops near me!
I only use gloves though- as a parent I wouldn't wear an apron, and I sort of see this as part of home care...I'm not a nursery or crèche so prefer to not be too clinical. HOWEVER, I only ever have two children in nappies a day, others are dry in pants so I don't often have dreaded explosions! Xx
