Can I register as a childminder and as a home Childcare provider at the same time?
I am looking to register as a childminder but have had an enquiry from a parent looking for short term care in her own home. I know registering as a home Childcare provider is voluntary but it offers me a certificate to show parents.
Just wondering if I am allowed to register as both?

I don't see why not as you could've working part time as both couldn't you?

I guess so, yeah. Just wanted to know if anyone had actually done it because I'm more keen on becoming a childminder and don't want to register as both for this one short term job if it will affect the childminding registration aspect.

yes you can i did it, just ring up then ask that it goes on your certificate aswell
