Hi everyone
I am wondering how quickly after registration Ofsted visit again for the grading visit? If you're not certain that you'll start working as a childminder immediately after your are registered, should I still train and get registered now or should I leave it until I know I'll be starting work asap after registration? Would Ofsted allow 9 months until I start working as a childminder after registration?

Once registered, they normally give it 6 months before calling to arrange your graded inspection.
I had no children at the time of my call, so was asked to call them when I did, which I did (several times lol), they eventually came out to me 18 months later.
