I have just completed the Cypop5 course and logged into OFSTED's online applical tool yesterday. When It asked about DBS checks, it referred me to the Capita website, but I needed a reference number. Any idea how I get that? Both sites just refer me to the other :(

I suggest you give Ofsted a ring - it's all changed and I know a lot of people find it confusing.

If you ring and tell them they are more likely to get it fixed. Hugs x

You get a number for capita when ofsted have accepted your application, they send it through the post. Mine took about a week x

Fill in the form, submit it , you get a registration number that you qoute to Capita.
Mine all happened in one afternoon!!

Ring ofsted and they will actually give you the number to use online over the phone - did that with me 3 wks ago and I got my sons crb just two wks later!!

Thank you all. Yhe reference number is in the guide to registration document, but I also need a pssword. Might give them a call. :)

As of 1st February you need to get your DBS check and medical questionnaire completed before you apply to Ofsted.
