i sent the form off last monday so it was exactly a week!!!
Calm down Sarah. You'll be fine.
If you haven't got lots of safety features in place, ie, stair gates, cupboard locks etc, just make a list of what you will be doing when you start minding.
Same with equipment, have a 'wish list' ready to show that you understand what will be required dependant on the age of the mindees.
Relax..... The inspector isn't going to be trying to catch you out, they may give you some 'actions', which will need to be done before you start minding but this is all quite normal.
Good luck for next week.

Just to ask, they say the inspector needs to check that your car is MOT'd and that you have a driving license, what about the insurance?
Do you have to take out business insurance BEFORE you've actually got your OFSTED registration?
Thank you :)

No, you need to give your assurance that you will put insurance in place when you are registered.
HTH :D

Thanks for that, think my insurer will be too expensive so will have to ring around again:(
