I want to add a room to my registration so I can use it for childminding (DH decided to move all the furniture one evening and now I can't fit the travel cot in the old room:mad:). So can someone tell me what I need to do? Just email Ofsted with details? Or is there a specific form to fill in? Obviously I will RA the new room - yay, another job to do:D.

As far as I know there re no restrictions now on the rooms you can use. It's up to you to RA them, but you don't need to inform Ofsted.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

Mouse is right - your registration certificate doesn't have restrictions on it any more - just risk assess.

If furniture has moved around you might need to check floor space :D

I just wondered because both inspectors (pre-reg and graded) referred to the rooms that I had specifically said I'd be using. Although, quite a bit of what my pre-reg inspector told me has been corrected by forum members:little angel:!

We cross-posted, Sarah. Thanks. It's bedrooms so play space hasn't changed. Thank goodness, because I'm tight on space as it is.
