i had parents come round on wednesday looking for care from november. in the rush i forgot to arrange when they would let me know by! the trouble is their hours would fit exactly round my other mindee but i need to tell his parents that i would need to drop him off at 3.15 instead of 3.30 for it to work.

i don't want to sound desperate and push them away but i would like to know their decision. i need to write new contract for my current mindee as his hours are changing so it would be helpful to know. do you think i should email them to ask if they can let me know soon or just wait for a bit?

why not give them a week as its so long till then, but tell the other family one time posss change to ...if another family starts cover your option say your waiting for confirmation :) good luck

Did the family say if they had other minders/nurseries to see?

They have not had very long to think about it so I wouldn't contact them yet.

As brillminder says you can explain to the other parent that you may need to juggle pick-up times slightly.
