Following on from another thread about changes in Wales I thought I would post this for anyone who hasn't already seen it about the changes to our SAS completion.
'The Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) has informed PACEY Cymru that the Self Assessment of Service Statement (SASS) will not be happening as an annual data collection in 2014 in the way it did last year (with a set date for everyone). Instead, individual providers in Wales will complete their SASS prior to their usual inspections, so the date will vary for everybody.
We have also been informed, for the future, that CSSIW are looking at implementing a new IT system in the Autumn which will ensure collection of information throughout the year on an ongoing basis and will provide further information on this as it develops.'
