Can anyone tell me please when I will be inspected? Is it 3 years from last inspection or 3 years from being first registered. Thanks

I think ideally it supposed to be three years between inspections, however now it seems to be at least once within each four year cycle which theoretically could mean you could go 7 years between inspections (according to my LA).

I know some CMs who have gone 5 years and others who have been inspected twice in 3 years. The ones who get inspected less frequently seem to have higher grades (eg outstanding) but I don't know if that is down to chance or if they concentrate on satisfactory childminders and those who have had complaints first.
