Hi everyone,

I have just started my CPOP5 course (intensive 4 week) and I have been advised by someone from my councils childminding support network to start the application to register now as Ofsted take so long to come out and register. I know that I need to have my course certificate (will have end of Nov) and complete my first aid (end of Jan 2014) in order for Ofsted to register but my course tutor has advised not to start the registration with Ofsted until I have completed everything just in case Ofsted come out to register me quicker than anticipated as I will be charged...

Do Ofsted take forever?

Should I just get the ball rolling now?

Thank you for reading!!

If you look at this document which has just been updated by Ofsted (Nov 2013) all information is there for you...it appears to be very clear on time and procedures

Good luck
