My assistant is having her Ofsted inspection to become a childminder in her own right next week. Does she need an assistants liability insurance? Is there anything else? All my policies have been changed to cover us both.

Yes you need Employers Liability Insurance for her as your Assistant, she will need Public Liability Insurance in her own right as a childminder.

Ok thanks. The insurance I have covers it as checked last night so it will just be next week she will have to get her own.
