Had my full inspection today and pleased to say that all has gone well. very gruelling three hours nearly compared to just under 2 last time. Had 2 three year olds and a 14month old all full on so was shattered by the end of it all but happy that I have been graded "good with very good (??) areas. 2 recommendations which I can't even do much about. 1. Suggesting I look at ways of extending the activities available in the garden around exploring earth, looking for worms allowing kids to experience soil etc. My garden is 25ft by 25ft and I have a dog who wee's and poo's in the garden. I take the children out whenever possible to experience just such activities and we do planting of seeds, potatoes etc. 2. Think of ways of getting parents who are not so interactive with me about diaries etc to become more interactive! Well, that's like taking a horse to water - can't make them do it - believe me I try!
So, can't do too much to change all that which means everything else is great so going to carry on. Bit disappointed that not Outstanding overall again but its down to personalities I think and perceptions by inspectors. Lady was very nice - she has inspected me years ago and registered me when it was social services so I know her quite well and I know she is fastidious.
Told all my parents and they are wonderful - very pleased and a few of them have said that they don't care - I am outstanding as far as they are concerned., That's all that matters:laughing:
