Looking for feedback really, asked a while back but was wondering if anyone else has now had an inspection whilst using orbit. I use it and parents and me love it but still feel nervous about when ofsted come a knocking as it is all new technology.

Hi I recently had my inspection (23rd Aug) and was graded "good" I don't use orbit but I do use baby's days which I believe is quite similar?

Good luck with your inspection :)

Zippy, even though it is an online system I still print it out and stick in the child's learning journal. I think it's great to show everything in date order, photos, obs, assessments, artwork etc. You also cant be certain that an inspector will be happy to view it on screen. The inspector thought it was great though!

Plus, can you imagine if your computer crashed, internet access failed, orbit was down for maintenance or anything else that would prevent you showing the inspector all your hard work?! I print mine out too, just to be on the safe side.

Exactly. A CM got inadequate for not being able to produce evidence for the children as their learning journals were all sent home to parents. If what you say happens you would be in the same position!

I intend to print the pdf version for the to see if they're fussy. Cant see it being a problem to be fair, after all we were only given the new eyfs in electronic form, only following their lead. lol
