I have read on another FB page that it is now standard at inspections to do a joint observation, either with an Assistant (if you have one) or Mrs O if you don't have an Assistant. All in-depth linking to EYFS and lasting circa 30 minutes. Is there any official guidance on this? When did this become a standard part of an inspection?

As we know, Ofsted love to change the goalposts around without letting anyone know. I imagine some inspectors have missed the 'group' bit :panic:

Thank you and UGH! Something else to get my head round / prepare for. What happens if Mindees won't cooperate with my chosen activity?! I suppose I should pick something I know they love already.
