I have recently taken on a new mindee. I have just found out inspection day will probably be the day she meets my other mindee and the first time I am caring for 2 under 5 and my own 4 year old daughter too. Does anyone have any idea how I can successfully show I am capable of planning, carrying out activities, controlling 2 mindees and also provide fun and stimulating activities when I have no idea how it will go?!!
Is it enough to plan an observation on PSED/all about me for both children? One is 4 and the other 1.How will I show i am following on from previously for this observation as it's a new situation?
I worry new mindee will be excited and not wanting to join in much and my younger one will probably sit still and watch the others!I was thinking maybe an activity with play dough, emotion play dough mats making faces, differences and people story books and a workbook activity on psed topics for older ones (they're home educated and like worksheets). I thought emotions and all about me sort of things will fit in with meeting new people. Can fit in c&l, pd m&h, maths, literacy, UW, EA and psed in the activities and thinking it's fairly simple. Worried ofsted will say I have no evidence of group planning and I am still doing starting points for new mindee.. I have lots planned in general for the next few weeks but want an easy and relevent activity for the first time. I'm thinking there will also be lots of not wanting to share as we get used to boundaries etc I can see myself getting flustered as I try to distract, talk to ofsted lady and keep everyone happy!!
