Hooray! Today after 2 months of waiting I received a letter saying I'd passed my ICP!! Do you think I should go on and do the rest of the DHC as I'm a qualified teacher?

DHC is good ... if you want to be a home based childcarer all your life.
If you want to spread your wings a bit, wait until you've got children on your books and go for the NVQ3 ...
I did that and it complemented my teaching degree nicely because it was about little ones :D

it's not too bad except some of the questions are a little ambigious! In Devon if you don't pass you get referred and can take it again. i don't think it matters greatly if you don't pass i think the requirement is just to attend but you then can't go on and achive the nvq3.
